Probably my first blog and he biggest Ill write....
Wondering around the various streets of one of the most diverse countries of the world.A thought itching somewhere at the back of my mind since I dont know how long.And finally after reading the article in Magazine The Hindu,I knew I had to pen it down.
The fact that inspite being the most diverse countries in the world, a woman here fails to get the respect she ought to have be it in her paternal house or after she's married,just hurts me,not because Im one day grow up being a woman too.But because if the fact that the basic humanitarian concern is getting lost somehwere in the blind traditions we follow.I'm not someone anti-religion or an atheist.I believe in god very much. But I also believe that when you have the right to live on and lead your life happily so does the women lying out shivering in the cold.True everyone needs to work their way to success, but once we look at them and feel their pity can't we just give them a helping hand to come out of their social fear.
Anyone whose visited Brindavan,a holy place for not only Hindus but others asa well would surely have noticed the stark contrasting features it has to offer.While one street is full of people merry-making the other street is full of widowed women in white not even having proper clothes to cover their backs,proper food to eat. And such people usually do give up hope on life.The evil called superstition is acceptable only to such a limit that is doesn't cause harm to people surrounding you.The moment your decision tends of repercussions on others we ought to think beofre we act.
I dont know how many people actually do believe in it, but I being someone whose going to join India's future genX tag would surely not like anyone saying that my country is backward just because of the way we treat some section of people.I just wanted people out there who've ever been affected by someone or those hurting others because of some wierd psychic reason, some people just seem quiet they may not actually be. You may seem strong when you hurt them are in power of their emotions,but its actually them who bear this all and come out if the hell who have thousands time the will power than you.
PS: Not to hurt anyone or any society at all. Its just my view and I feel that its bad hurting someone just because of some age old tradition. Just think once before hurting them.And Im extremely sorry if this has hurt someone
